DIET PILL

You may not think that these study findings reveal anything newsworthy but actually this has been a topic of debate for quite some time. The issue is this: Is being overweight by just a few pounds a cosmetic issue or a health issue? Clearly the jury is in that it is a health issue. If you’re a typical American who has seen his or her weight climb with each passing decade, now is the time to take action. Instead of completely overhauling your lifestyle, I recommend making small changes in your lifestyle that can result in big changes in your health. Here are some examples:--Commit to walking 30 minutes per day on most days of the week by setting aside 10 minute intervals mid morning, around lunchtime and after dinner. Who doesn’t have 10 minutes to spare?--Bring your lunch from home 2-3 times a week in an effort to control portions.--Toss a piece of fresh fruit into your purse or briefcase daily as a way to boost nutrition.--Carry a water bottle with you and commit to staying hydrated throughout the day. --Start your day with breakfast on most days of the week. If you’re pressed for time, keep meal replacement bars at home for a quick grab-and-go breakfast.--Weigh yourself weekly so you can begin to track your progress. --Get support. You don’t have to go it alone when learning how to eat healthier and becoming more active. Studies have shown that getting support in the way of a family member, friend, online buddy or even your dog is enough to keep you motivated and more likely to achieve success.
